Requirements for a TN Visa for an Accountant:

Baccalaureate or Licenciatura Degree; or C.P.A., C.A., C.G.A., or C.M.A.

Admissions requirements for C.P.A. *according to Concordia University:

1. Bachelor’s degree (>3.0 GPA)
2. Complete these courses
3. Complete ACCO courses (>2.8 GPA)
4. Pass the English proficiency requirements

C.P.A vs. C.A.: C.P.A. operates within Canada where a C.A. practices internationally.

C.G.A.: no longer exists and now falls under the C.P.A banner.

Requirements for C.M.A.: With a focus in management accounting, C.M.A.’s need two years of professional experience and are required to pass a two-part examiniation.
